Would You Like to Help?The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF) is financed mainly by fundraising events that are held throughout the year and by donations from individuals. SBTF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

In 2007, 97 cents of every dollar raised for SBTF was allocated to its intended purpose (brain tumor research grants and support group services); all of our grants are merit based and not tied to any specific institution; and where the funds go is determined by a review of our medical advisory board, which is made up of four of the most highly recognized brain tumor research professionals in the country.
