participated in 2007. Help to increase that number to 1500 participants and to raise $400,000 for brain tumor

Ride for Karen's Legacy is being held July 5, 2008 starting at Great South Harley Davidson, 185 E. Hwy 16, Newnan, GA 30263. Registration begins at 9 AM; bikes leave at 10 AM. The presentation of the 2007 SBTF Brain Tumor Research Grants was held on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at the Emory University Winship Cancer Institute. Click here for information on the awards.
The Atlanta Sharing Hope Brain Tumor Patient/Survivor/Family Meeting co-sponsored by the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA), the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children (BTFC) and the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF) was held February 29 through March 1, 2008. Some 150 individuals participated in this informative meeting.
David Bailey returned to the Atlanta area, Sunday, March 16th to perform at the Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, Duluth, Georgia. SBTF is in the news on Atlanta Jewish Times Online. The article states "It's a worthy cause that the JT staff supports in memory of Bob Menaker, and we encourage the Atlanta Jewish Community to get involved." Sadly, the JT former editor Bob Menaker lost his battle with brain tumor in 2006.
The National Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) provides financial assistance to brain tumor patients across the country!
